Bio + Fun Facts:
D’Andre J. Coats is the Residential College Coordinator for West Residential College. As a Chicago native (Go Bulls), D’Andre appreciates the mild winters southern California provides, but he will always have a sweet spot for the midwest. D’Andre received his undergraduate degree in education from Taylor University – a small college in Indiana. He also received his Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Taylor as well. D’Andre’s passion for working with college students and helping them develop began during his year as an RA during undergrad. He loves getting to walk alongside students as they challenge assumptions, deepen sympathies and broaden their perspectives. D’Andre is currently working on his doctoral degree in educational leadership at SC and is excited to be in the Trojan community. When he’s not working, he enjoys going to see movies, catching a Clippers game, hosting game nights with friends, and spending quality time with his dog, Penny!
