Bio + Fun Facts:
Ko Kashiwazaki is the Assistant Director for Residential Community Standards. He has a B.A. in Communication from UC Santa Barbara and a M.A.Ed. from the University of Southern California. Ko grew up in San Francisco and Marin County before moving further south in pursuit of higher education and a career. Before coming to USC, Ko worked at UC Santa Barbara where he upheld housing and university policies for the campus. His professional career has been built on the back of university conduct experience, combined with his passion for supporting students. Ko also has residential education experience from his time as Resident Director at UC Santa Barbara as well as when he was Resident Director for Semester at Sea during the Spring 2012 voyage.

Throughout his career, Ko has been motivated by his desire to create and maintain a safe and vibrant college experience. It is his hope that all USC community members are given every opportunity to develop personally and professionally and that they are all supported in their pursuit of excellence. When not in his office, Ko can usually be found at the gym, entertaining grand visions of travel and adventure or looking for discarded treasure at thrift shops.
