RA Application Process
Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year will go live on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, and will close on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST.

**After steps 3, 4, and 5 – the RA Selection Committee will select the candidates who will move on in the process.
Please note: Unfortunately, Ph.D. students are not eligible to participate in the Resident Assistant position. USC’s Graduate School has informed us that due to the time constraints and intense demand of study toward the PhD, all PhD students at USC are not eligible to serve as a resident assistant. If you are in a doctoral program that is not PhD (i.e. EdD), you are allowed to apply for the position.
Furthermore, we have provided the 25-26 RA Position Description and 25-26 RA Position Agreements for your reference. These resources best illustrate the full scope of the RA position in the Office for Residential Education. Please know that the description and agreements are subject to change. The finalized documents for 26-27 will be shared at the time of the position offer in February 2026.
