Residential College Cup

The Residential College Cup is an annual competition that brings first-year USC students together through events, activities, and friendly competition. Residents earn points throughout the academic year while representing one of seven residential college teams.
By participating, students can meet their neighbors, build community, create lasting memories, and help their team compete for the Residential College Cup trophy.

Which Team Do I Represent?
First-year students who do not live in one of the seven residential colleges can still participate in the Residential College Cup:
- West: Century, La Sorbonne, Cardinal Gardens, and McClintock residents
- Birnkrant: Troy and Graduate and Family Housing residents
- New North: Figueroa residents
- McCarthy Honors: Cale & Irani, Cowlings & Ilium, Nemirovsky, Bohnett, and McMorrow residents
How the Competition Works
Residential College Cup points are earned through event placement, event attendance, and scoring during competitions.

Together, these points determine each residential college or community’s overall ranking.

Residential College Cup Events
Throughout each semester, residents can attend and compete in events that support their residential college or community. Participating is a great way to meet neighbors, make friends, enjoy giveaways, create memories, and have fun.
Every point helps your team move closer to winning the Residential College Cup trophy at the end of the academic year.
