The Office for Residential Education is dedicated to providing all USC Housing residents a quality living environment. While each residential community is unique, all provide residents with programming targeted specifically to resident needs and interests as well as the support and mentorship of undergraduate, graduate and professional staff members.


Cardinal Gardens & McClintock Apartments
Cardinal Gardens is an apartment complex consisting of nine individual townhouse-style buildings and a beautiful central courtyard connected by winding, tree-lined walkways. This energetic community is home to mostly sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Century & La Sorbonne Apartments
Century is a two-tower apartment complex consisting of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, each with air conditioning. For outdoor fun, there is a swimming pool with barbecue area, basketball and beach volleyball courts and a large grassy area.

Troy Hall & Troy East
Troy Hall and Troy East are a large connected apartment complex. Troy Hall is home to undergraduate students and Troy East is home to graduate students. Residents can relax in the complex’s central courtyard, which features an open grassy area, built-in gas barbecues, chaise lounges, hammocks and outdoor patio tables for taking in the sun, or sitting by the two large fire features on a cool California evening


Graduate & Family Housing
Graduate and Family Housing comprises of 30+ different apartment complexes in the North University Park Campus area. Residential Education has a Residential College Coordinator overseeing 24 Resident Assistants who collaborate with one Faculty in Residence, in the Sierra community, to provide each graduate student with a unique living-learning experience. Our staff and student leaders put on events that support career exploration, networking, community building, and a connection to the city of Los Angeles.
