Founded at USC in 1988, the Residential Housing Association (RHA) has served as a cornerstone of residential life for over 30 years. Today, RHA represents and supports approximately 9,000 students who live in USC Housing, continuing its longstanding commitment to fostering community, leadership, and engagement across all residential communities.
Mission: Residential Housing Association (RHA) serves all students who live in USC Housing by providing them with ways to enhance and contribute to their residential experience at the University. Acting as a liaison between students, faculty and administrators, the Association shall express a unified voice to build community, empower residents, and create opportunities for academic excellence and leadership development.
In collaboration with Community Councils, the student leadership groups within some residential areas, RHA supports resident-led initiatives, strengthens communication between communities, and promotes engagement across all residential areas.
