The Office for Residential Education is dedicated to providing all USC Housing residents a quality living environment. While each residential community is unique, all provide residents with programming targeted specifically to resident needs and interests as well as the support and mentorship of undergraduate, graduate and professional staff members.
The Bohnett Residential College is a community built around a core ideal of social action through entrepreneurship. In collaboration with faculty, staff and social entrepreneurs within the Los Angeles community and beyond, students will engage with and seek innovative solutions for a broad range of social issues such as homelessness, gun violence, diversity & inclusion, college access and many other pressing social justice concerns facing the world today.

Cardinal Gardens Apartments
Cardinal Gardens is an apartment complex consisting of nine individual townhouse-style buildings connected by winding, tree-lined walkways. This energetic community is home to mostly sophomores, juniors and seniors. The central courtyard has two gas barbecues, chaise lounges and outdoor patio tables.
Comprised of two large buildings, Century is an excellent choice for all continuing students looking for an apartment close to campus. It offers air conditioned one bedroom and two bedroom apartments, each with double occupancy bedrooms. For outdoor fun, there is a swimming pool with barbecue area, basketball and beach volleyball courts and a large grassy area.
The residents of Cowlings Residential College for Arts & Cultures will awaken their inner cultural explorer. USC and the city of Los Angeles is the home to many musicians, filmmakers, fashion designers, painters, and various artists from around the world.
Performance science focuses on the mind, body, and business. Students in this residential college will get to explore their untapped potential in learning how to break down barriers inhibiting leadership, decision-making, resilience, or creative potential.
USC’s sustainability community is an interdisciplinary society of students who are dedicated to building awareness around the principles of environmental, social and economic sustainability through green living practices, educational activities, and societal engagement.
This Innovation and Design Residential College aspires to support the interests and passions of students in the areas of technology, science, and design. This community will encourage the pursuit of solutions to global challenges through creativity, innovation, and novelty.
