Bio + Fun Facts:
Jason Souriolle (he/him/his) serves as the Residential College Coordinator for Birnkrant Residential College. His journey in higher education began at the University of La Verne where he majored in Kinesiology. There, Jason was involved in athletics, the Honors Program, and served as a Resident Assistant for three years. In that time, he realized his passion for serving college students and developing community. Jason pursued this passion by later attending California State University, Fullerton where he received a M.S. in Higher Education. While at CSUF, Jason had the privilege of working in Athletics Academic Services as an Academic Mentor and in Housing and Residential Engagement as both a Graduate Assistant for Student Leadership and Community Coordinator. In these roles, he was able to support students in their academics, plan large-scale community events, and provide students with skills to allow them to be successful in their life beyond college.
Outside of work, Jason loves to be physically active. You can often find him working out or playing all types of games and sports like Basketball, Spikeball, or Disc Golf. On a more relaxed day, Jason will spend his time with family and friends by trying new foods, watching sports, playing video and board games, or spending time in nature, especially at the beach.
