Bio + Fun Facts:
Patty is the Residential College Coordinator for Parkside International Residential College. Originally from New Jersey, she attended Rutgers University- New Brunswick and earned her B.A. in Psychology. While at Rutgers, Patty found and developed her passion for working with college students through new student orientation, residential life, first-year seminar instruction, and academic tutoring. After graduation, Patty transitioned into her graduate program in Student Affairs at Ball State University in Indiana with an assistantship in Housing and Residence Life. Over the two year master’s program, she also gained experience in admissions, international student services, community college affairs, and collegiate lobbying at state levels. At the University of Southern California, Patty has the fantastic opportunity to work with students of Parkside International Residential College, Suites and Apartments. She enjoys various components of her position including resident assistant supervision and development, program planning, providing mentorship and guidance to residents, faculty collaboration, and more. Outside of her role in ResEd, Patty is also pursuing her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership through the USC Rossier School of Education. In her free time, Patty enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, watching hours of Netflix and Hulu at a time, connecting with family, and spending time with her pup, Lunabear.
