Residential Community Coordinator
Erin Martinez is the Residential College Coordinator for Cardinal Gardens. Erin was raised in Loma Linda, CA and then pursued her Bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Cruz. At UCSC, Erin served as a RA for two years and the founder of RA Council to unite the Residential Assistants on campus. During her time at UCSC she developed her passion for social justice, inclusion and the power of change through programs. Erin received her Master’s degree in College Counseling and Student Development from Azusa Pacific University and worked in residential life and student conduct for six years before becoming a member of the Trojan family.
Graduate Residential Community Coordinator
Kelsey Shook is the Graduate Residential Community Coordinator for Cardinal Gardens for the 2015-2016 school year. She grew up in Orange Park, Florida and attended college at the University of South Florida in Tampa with a major in Psychology and a minor in Leadership Studies. It became her passion to work with and support college students in discovering their passion. Kelsey graduated from USF in December 2014 and finished her third year working at the Campus Recreation Center in the spring before moving from the east coast to the west coast. At USC, she is pursuing a Master’s of Education degree in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs. Kelsey grew up a golfer, she loves photography, and being on or near the water. Disney, tv shows, and movies are important things in her life. She is a sucker for amazing landscapes and beautiful sunsets. Kelsey loves going on small and large adventures, whether it be exploring museums, going on a drive without a GPS, or searching for a good coffee/tea/boba place. Kelsey is so happy to have traveled from the Sunshine State to the Golden State, and so far her new adventure has been unforgettable!
