Residential Community Coordinator 

Erin Martinez is the Residential College Coordinator for Cardinal Gardens. Erin was raised in Loma Linda, CA and then pursued her Bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Cruz. At UCSC, Erin served as a RA for two years and the founder of RA Council to unite the Residential Assistants on campus. During her time at UCSC she developed her passion for social justice, inclusion and the power of change through programs. Erin received her Master’s degree in College Counseling and Student Development  from Azusa Pacific University and worked in residential life and student conduct for six years before becoming a member of the Trojan family.

Graduate Residential Community Coordinator

Jonatas is the Graduate Residential Community Coordinator for Cardinal Gardens. Originally from Brazil, Jonatas holds a Bachelor degree in Cinema & Television Production with a Minor in Business from Regent University. He is currently pursuing his MFA in Film Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, focusing in Producing & Directing. His favorite TV shows are Game of Thrones, Veep, House of Cards, and LOST. Jonatas’ favorite movies are Beasts of the Southern Wild, Beasts of No Nation, Mommy by Xavier Dolan, The Revenant, and The Big Short.  He loves documentaries and VRs, but his true dream is to direct narrative fictions in the future. He loves to help residents feel at home at USC, so he is fortunate to work with such a phenomenal team in the ResEd department. This will be his third year serving as a Graduate Residential Community Coordinator.
