Residential Communities

The Office for Residential Education is dedicated to providing all USC Housing residents a quality living environment.  While each residential community is unique, all provide residents with programming targeted specifically to resident needs and interests as well as the support and mentorship of undergraduate, graduate and professional staff members.

Cardinal Gardens is an apartment complex consisting of nine individual townhouse-style buildings and a beautiful central courtyard connected by winding, tree-lined walkways. This energetic community is home to mostly sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Century  & La Sorbonne Apartments

Century is a two-tower apartment complex consisting of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, each with air conditioning.  For outdoor fun, there is a swimming pool with barbecue area, basketball and beach volleyball courts and a large grassy area.

Graduate & Family Housing

Graduate and Family Housing is comprised of 30+ different apartment complexes in the North University Park Campus area.  Residential Education has 2 Residential College Coordinators and 2 Graduate RCCs overseeing 36 Resident Assistants who collaborate with three Faculty in Residence to provide each graduate student with a unique living-learning experience. Our staff and student leaders put on events that support career exploration, networking, community building, and a connection to the city of Los Angeles. There is one Building Government that serves the entire Graduate and Family Housing population.
