Marin Fuhrmann

Residential College Coordinator

South II — Marks Tower & Trojan Hall

Marin Fuhrmann is one of the Residential College Coordinators for South Residential College and is responsible for Marks Tower and Trojan Hall.  As a member of a military family, Marin moved several times but lived the longest in Utah, and most recently moved to Los Angeles from Philadelphia where she worked as a Resident Director for three years.  During that time, Marin was also the Assistant Director of Alcohol Education through which she was able to plan and implement late night programming and work in partnership with the Haven (housing for students in recovery from substance abuse).  Prior to that, Marin earned degrees in English and Communication at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and then moved to Phoenix, Arizona to teach sixth grade language arts through Teach For America.  While there, she also earned her M.Ed from Arizona State University.  Marin loves traveling, running, reading, cats (she has a cow-colored cat named Otto who resides with her), and watching Netflix- sometimes a little too much.
